When you have that perfectly fitting pattern, join me & make a beautiful fully lined speed tailored jacket. This method of tailoring enables you to make a crisp manufactured jacket. Using the latest interfacings available no pad stitching and very little hand sewing.
You provide a plain fabric (there is no time for matching checks or stripes on the course) suitable for speed tailoring. Matching lining and buttons, & basic interfacings. I’ll provide all the rest of the interfacings & know how.
We will work on half the jacket on the day of the course & for homework you complete the other half to the same point, before the next course date.
We will start with the lay out of the pattern right through to sewing on the buttons. All techniques in-between will be covered including collars, lapels, sleeves & pockets to enable you to make a perfect jacket.
Note: You will need to do the jacket fitting course before this one as no time is allowed for fittings on the course dates shown. This is the only workshop that needs to be done prior to this one.
